yes it does but your valve stem his the brake caliper i think. pretty much does the same thing as wheel spacers which isnt the best idea for widening.

did that on my blaster it looked cool handled ok but it wore the bearings in the hub faster than when it was stock.:D

We tried that... You have to invert the valve stem and then drill a hole for a new valve stem on the other side. It adds 1 inch per side. Making the rim a 2-3 offset verses a 3-2 offset.
What we noticed is that the bump steer after doing that was very bad. A steering stabilizer helped some.
Spacers increase the bump steer as wll. They also add more unsprung weight and rotating mass. The combination is a formula for disaster if you are racing or jumping.
If you want it wider, the best thing to do is go with extended a-arms.
