hey,

just thinkin about buying some paddles for my 05 TRX400EX. stock tire size is 20x10x9. i was gonna go with a paddle size of 21x11x9

my question is, with paddles do you think the difference from a 9 inch rim to a 10 inch would hurt the performance?

i know the size difference going from stock to an inch bigger and wider will make a difference in performance, but would the rim size do anything?

not really but most paddle tires are bought 8 inch for a lighter wheel.

and a 8in means it will baloon out and expand so you get more tire to the ground etc...

Are you sure? I thought that a tire and rim on a 10" rim will be lighter than a tire and rim on an 8" rim if the other measurements are the same.:confused: Is it different with dirt tires and paddles?
