I am thinking about making my own battery box for my 300ex. I want diamond plate but I dont know where i can get a small amount of it. I just want to make a box to go around the battery i dont want to make a air box that holds the battery. Anyone have any suggestions?

I just want to add some shine to the bike....lol I would rather have a cool piece of diamond plate or polished aluminum instead of seeing the battery. You know what I mean?

im looking to cut it and make it like a box and then weld it together on the inside

i will know more next week when i start look at material and getting ready to make it.

i tried drawing a picture in paint but it didnt work.

Its going to just like the one that is on there now but it will cover all the sides on the battery all the way up to the connections. I think it will look sweet when it is done and everybody else will want one...lol :blah:

i have a friend that can make em from stainless steel. looks really good and no need to polish. He's wanting to sell em for about $20 i have a pic of mine but i probably will have to resize it.
