What is is worth? '04 TRX450R

I have a friend that bought a 2004 TRX450R last September and he is thinking of getting rid of it.

It is 100% stock (red) and has low or no hours on it. It has literally been ridden 3 times mostly in his development so that means on the street, and in some snow. I think it has been through a mud puddle, that is how unused this thing is. It just sits in the garage. The bike is spotless and runs great obviously.

I was thinking of picking it up if it is in my price range but I don't even know what they are worth, all I see are new one's at the local shop or scrolling through this site, and most of the bikes on this site have aftermarket stuff and all that and have at least been ridden. This is totally stock.

Can any of you guys help me out?
What kind of price can he ask or should I pay?

most go for around $5000 to $5500 but ive seen them as low as $4300 so see what he will take for it

i've seen one slightly modded going for 3700$, that's cheap!!!

you can buy a brand new 05' for $4700, so you might want to adjust your price to that.

lol my bank said a 2004 yfz450 is nada valued at like 3595 I almost **** my pants.
