right now i have a stock pipe....i want to get a white brothers e-series slip on....but i am worried about re-jetting. Do you have to re-jet for an e-series or can i just put it on and go?

Thanks

IMHO it would be better if you rejet to get your system exactly right. I have a friend with an E-series and he claimed his bike lost a little power after putting on the E-series, until he rejetted it.

the good thing about the e-series is that you can just put it on and go. it is somewhat tunable with the discs (plates), so you can add or remove discs to make it run a little leaner or richer all without rejetting. there are other silencers on the market now that have a similar disc system. you shouldn't have to rejet UNLESS you run an aftermarket filter (k&n) and/or change the amount of air coming into the carb by either running without the air box lid or cutting holes in the lid.

that being said, you will get better power if you change the filter and modify/run without the lid, AND rejet.

either way, it will have more power than stock.

by the way, rejetting is a simple procedure. i'm not very mechanical and i did mine no problem.
