how hard is it to mount ac propegs ive heard you have to like drill holes and stuff? i bought some used so maby this will be done but help please

There is some drilling, but from there the installation is pretty much straight forward.

Get a set of Pro Armors and be done with it!!! AC are junk!!!

You have to drill holes for a bolt to connect the nerfs and the bar that hooks to the chasis were the old footpegs were.

Well i Disagree, AC aint junk, i dont like the look of the Pro Armors, I love my AC's wouldnt hav nuthin over them, had them for over a year and there just as good as when i 1st put them on.

Well to back up MY PERSONAL OPINION, I've had two sets of pro pegs. One for a 400ex, an one for a 450r. In order for them to fit properly, I had to break, YES I SAID BREAK, both sets and have them welded back. When I called AC about the second set for the 450, they said I wasn't installing them properly. I tried explaining that the mount on the left side of the engine was 1/2" off, they still said I was wrong. When I spend $220 for a product that is supposed to bolt on, I kinda expect it to bolt on, not be broken and rewelded so it fits.
