05 reverse

Just picked up a used 05, with no manual. How does reverse work, what's the seqence into and out of reverse?:confused:

clutch, turn nob on fender then down shift till you go into rev.

U wont need tot urn the nob to put it back in first just pull in the clutch and up shift. :D

just turn the black thing on the fender and shift down twice or until the light comes on then just shift up when you are done with reverse.

Another important side note to remember is the the quad WILL NOT restart if it dies in reverse (safety feature). You will have to take it out of reverse before it will fire back up. There is a simple modification you can do to enable restarts in reverse. This is ecspecially nice when the motor is cold and trying to back up. Follow the link below that I've attached for the "how to" There's 2 ways to go about it. One disables the reverse light too. I prefer the method where the reverse light still works. Read further down the thread for the second option. Let me know if you have any questions.
