Has anyone ever heard of this setup? I love my 400ex frame and the suspension on it, and don't want to get rid of it.

I personally like the ride better than a 450R....

Maybe it was a Honda 450F engine, I know one of them dropped in and fit perfect, someone told me they read it in Dirt Wheels magazine....

Anyone else heard of this....

JB racing does it too.

Your looking at least $1500+ the cost of the motor ,carb and electronics.

With the yzf conversion you need to fab up oil tank mounts and /or a custom oil tank, so that will add to your cost more.

You havent rode a 250r enough. :p

The crf\ex conversion rides better than a regular 400, its amazing what a 30 pound weight reduction will do.

i've never ridden a 250R...I only wish I had one....

I am going to race the 400 as it sits now, and then I will probably do it next winter...
