I wanna race my 450r either in the stock class or the first year racer class, i was wonderin how the comp. is in either of them and how difficult the track is. Im a Woods rider so this will be a whole new beast for me.

Well, they have a woodsman class this year. You should get into that one!! They even throw a few trees out on the track to make them feel at home. Has to be 20 inch tires or larger and no wider than 48 inches. And the best part is it's a dead engine start!!

The stock boys are pretty crazy. They jump all the jumps. I would say go with first year racer or the woodsman class. The woodsman racers get a special holeshot award for each round.

While were on the topic of Earlywines. Who is going this weekend. It's round 3 and 4 of the winter series and we need to get the numbers up. I think there were around 60 quads at the last race and I don't see why we can't make it 100! We need new faces to show up, the track and facility are top notch. The track is save and fun first year racers and yet challening enough for pros too. If you've not made it to a race yet you're missing out on a great time! Hope to see everyone this weekend.

I'm hoping to make it to the next race after this weekend, money is tight cause of christmas, but we'll see. Look for the 6 foot 4 tall skinny kid in the stands with a camera, lol.

Well, i went to saturday to check it out. I must say, I was impressed with everyone at the track. Everyone had some really good machines out there. I didn't see one quad that look just slapped together. And the track looks smooth, fast and fun. This is definitely something I want to try at least for 1 weekend this winter. It was very easy to find and no problems at all. Just great racing in every class, can't wait to be a part of the action!! I recommend it to anyone within driving distance.

He did great. Turnout overall was good. Could have used more Woodsman! Be sure and talk to him. You'll want to make the rest of the series!

I might go friday and practice. Will anyone be there? Do i have to have an AMA card for practice? What is the atmosphere like on practice days is everyone down to buisness cause i dont wanna get runover i would just tryin to be getting some experience so i can start racing there. Ive only been on an mx track 4-5 times. My friend Tj Combs keeps tellin me good things about earlywines so im comin to check it out. Thanks

Cdaleracer
12-14-2005, 10:20 AM
I'll be there practicing on Friday night. I'll be on the black 450R with yellow and red Updog graphics. Come say hello. You do not need an AMA card. You will however have to buy a membership which is $25. Then another $15 or 20 to practice.

There are only a handful of quads that show up to practice on Friday night before races. We are laid back, the faster guys get more serious when they are practicing however. I usually get off the track when they are out there.

Chris just asks that you stick to your line and if you are the slower rider to stay to the right. You will be fine.

See you in a few days!!

They have open practice Tuesday - Friday, 11-9 this week. Except Wednesdays are dirt bike only days. Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

They are also open New Years Eve 11-6 and New Years Day 11-6.

The next time quads get to practice without dirt bikes is the second weekend of January. Friday night practice and racing Saturday and Sunday.

Hopefully we will see you there!!

From what Jaspman has told me Cody is doing fine. He was released from the hospital and only suffered a concusion. Thank God! He's a great kid and he's getting faster every weekend. I guess he just came up a little short on that last double and endo'd. He's sooooo lucky his helmet was cracked and everything, it could have been a lot worse.

20" or taller tires. No wider than 48". Everything just molds into an XC machine. Plus a dead engine start. Makes for some interesting racing.

Not too many. The sun was not helping me out. And it was crazy busy. So I spent most of my time talking to riders and helping out where needed. Nice to see a good quad turn out for an open practice!

Not really. Consider it more like doing only the MX track part at a GNCC.

Machines rules and dead engine start. From slow to fast riders. It's more for fun than anything else.

I just thought i would let everyone know that fellow Earlywines member Rocky Moon passed away last night due to accidental cause. He was really a GREAT rider with a lot of talent and the attitude to back it up. I only talked to him a few times personally but he was without a doubt the best rider in my town and neighboring towns. He had a bright future. Peace Bro
