over my x max break i plan to do some motor work and i was wondering what you guys would have done and remember i dont have a lot of money and i want first gear to be longer and i still want the torq i was thinking cam and pistion i already have full pipe k&n and stage 2 jet setup. so what is something i could have done with out spending over 500 and me doing all the work

oh yeah i would like to out run an z400 with a pipe :D just to show my buddy his old atv will out run his new one

good luck out running a z400 but you wont

i would get a

11:1 compression pistion
bore size to .80 so its a true 300
web cam
you will need to run it on race gas but you will see real big improvement
port and polish
harden rockers
and big vavles

you can get the pistion rockers and cam from here (www.magicracing.com) and have a motor shop bore it out and port and polish your engine

13/36 gearing or 14/36 seems to be the best choice

if you want more top end go with 13/36

if you want more bottom end go with 14/36

you wanna liven up the 300 put on a white brothers pipe, k&n filter, jet kit then get a slight over bore on the engine with higher compresion get a web cam and the valve seats fixxed up...i went down 2 the rear and i can pop wheelies in 4th but the gearing in first is always gunna be short its internal u cant change it.

you got it backwards 14/36 is for more topend

alright sorry my mistake but i could of swore it was the way i had it :ermm:
