Here is a DOCTERED image of My 450R with a photo taken from Blingstar's website. I used photoshop and blindly resized thier image using the mounts seen on the burnished aluminum bumber to approximate where they would be on the black bumper (no mounts shown) to match the mount points on the picture of my quad.

I liked it. So I went out and bought a real one the next day. I have pictures of my quad with the real bumper and will post a picture when I get home tonight. (The photoshop image turned out so close!)

ahh the ole blingstar body mutalating bumper "aka the quad spear"

the bumper personally scares the hell out of me god forbid if someone ran you over and landed on you with it...... ive been against that thing from day one and ive heard sharp pointed bumpers are gonna be banned from the nationals. i think this is why. i saw this pup at a local race and some kid getting CPR

From the looks of it, the AC bumper is smaller, and you can see a couple of quads that have it installed here:

As for the "Quad Spear"

That picture is a hoax. Blood just simply doesn't look like that after is coagulates and dries. Not to mention that is bike is prestine clean (no dirt anyware) and is sitting in someones carport, not at a track.

And the whole "point is going to get you" concept is a farce. The bumper "point" is actually very blunt. (See photos). and it doesn't stick out far enough from the quad to "spear" anything. A simple matter if physics is going to tell you that even in the super rare event you land on someone from a bad jump, and just so happens that only your front end makes contact with the "victim", the rest of the front end is also going to hit, which would probably break some bones, but any bumper / front end would. Look at the edges on the iron cross. Ever hear of a helmet?

An of course, last, if you invert the image in any simple photoshop software suite, it appears as if this "blood" was doctered into the photo (Note the red arrows pointing to the inverted "blood" that supposedly exists in the air space between the bumper edges). At best, it is a good air brush/ paint job, but not blood from ****ing some kid at the track.

Hopefully, you just don't buy it!

Yah, I had fun poking holes through the story.

But I analyze EVERYTHING (fake, real, good, bad etc), because it's who I am (I am an engineer...it's just the way I think)..

I have never seen one episode of any version of CSI....TV is lame.

Cheers!;)

(Plus, you'd be amazed (or maybe not) at how many people would have actually taken it seriously LOL!!)
