get the stabilizer...they make a world of difference...the hot cam would be a good idea until you figure that most people will need to have it installed by a professional and that will undoubtledly freatly increase the price...

the hotcam is a good choice, not that hard to do if you have a manual on hand or a buddy that has done it before. But another thing to consider is gearing. are you worried about loosing a little topend? if not try lowering your front sprocket down to a 14 tooth. If you really want some bottom end get the 39 tooth for the back. That is gonna cost you less than $50. Maybe a curtis sparks advanced timing key, not to hard to do and fairly cheap, say no more than $30 with shipping.

the stabilizer nearly eliminated bump steer. bump steer is the teh bars jerk when only one tire hits a rock or something. it is less fatiging when riding all day. i would suggest a rebuildable one such as a Pep.

What if I got a hot cam? Do I need other motor modifications to make it work to its fullest or would it work fine with no motor modifictaions, cause I have none. What stage do you prefer and what company? I ride in the dunes and trails.

Thanks, Josh
