my brothers 06 isn't broke in yet but I rode a 05 with a gt thunder link I would keep the gt thunder link

he's getting elka's soon
but I guess the link is ok but I don't think it is better than the gt thunder

The 04/05 link will be different than the 06 link, so you cant just keep that one, he would need a new one.

I ordered my PEP suspension from Baldwin last week and they're in the process of getting the '06 link ready. They've already tested the prototype. She said it would take 4 weeks to get my shocks ready for me and the link should be ready by then as well.

I'm not sure of GT Thunder's progress.

I already have a new GT Thunder link on my '06, so they are available.

06 stock link vs. GT Thunder 06 link
XC setup with stock swingarm and a revalved Elka Laz did.
(p.s. I've got my 06 stock link on ebay if anybody wants one)

Will the linkage work with a PRM Z-plate, or does the linkage box have to be cut out?

correct me if I'm wrong but you can use an 04 or 05 linkage but you have to use a 04 or 05 swingarm with it.

Is this the same thing as a dog bone?

That is correct, you can use the 06' Swinger on the 04-05, but you have to use the 06' link and shock.

Same goes for the 04-05 swinger on an 06', for all you TT guys out there.

Just remember, you will need all of the following.

Swingarm
Complete linkage (AKA, DA Bone)
Shock

You might be able to swap the shocks, but it will change the ride height, the 06' shock is longer!

I was wrong I have 7.

XC01 Link – Designed to have the correct up travel and down travel of the rear wheels as well as a good progression ratio utilizing the stock shock lengths for 20-inch tires.

XC02 Link – Designed for aftermarket shocks and stock rear shocks that I have rebuilt, utilizing the stock shock travel but with a shortened shock, giving you ½ inch more ground clearance at the linkage with 20-inch tires.

MX01 - Designed to have the correct up travel and down travel of the rear wheels as well as a good progression ratio utilizing the stock shock lengths for 18-inch tires.

MX02 - Designed for aftermarket shocks and stock rear shocks that I have rebuilt, utilizing the stock shock travel but with a shortened shock, giving you ½ inch more ground clearance at the linkage with 18-inch tires.

MX03 – Same as MX01 with a flatter progression curve for the guys who are stuck on running dual spring rear shock setups.

MXLT01 – Part of a Long Travel rear end kit with drastically lower leverage ratios to help lower shock heat and provide a more suspension on long races for 18-inch tires.

XCLT02 - Part of a Long Travel rear end kit with drastically lower leverage ratios to help lower shock heat and provide a more suspension on long races for 20-inch tires.

I've had his products before and this guy knows his shat! He'll be the one doing my shocks on my 450er.

Well.... I was finally able to try this link out and it works GREAT!

The only bad part is that since I tried it out, we have gotten a foot of snow! I'm all jacked up to ride, and this stupid white stuff is just too deep!

sprocket disk? are you talking about the circular metal piece that bolts onto the sprocket hub?

laz does great work, he hooked up my shocks, if anyone wants to have their shocks done and get them done the right way the first time, G T Thunder is the place to do it, you really cant get any better then the setups he offers
