His birthday is in a couple of weeks. I let him take possession of his gift early since we were riding the track today. He was hitting all of the jumps on it. Enjoy the pics.

Thanks for the kind comments. The kid is 10, he will be 11 on dec,14th. I call him punk1 because he is our eldest son. He has been riding since he was 2, so he has some experience. He needs more experience on the trails which is why I got him the 250EX. The LT-80 he was riding is too slow in the woods, plus he was too big for it. I took him trail riding on the 80 last week and he really seemed to enjoy it despite being on the little 80. He seems to really enjoy the 250 so far. Now he will have the power and ability to hang with us in the woods.

That sport clutch works well!

so does it work just like an auto clutch, that you can over-ride if you want to?? do you have to use the clutch at all, or can you just let it go full automatic???

i was thinking about this quad for my girl, but she has not rode anything with a manual clutch.
she likes the way my 450r looks so i thought the 250ex might be a good choice???

its just like any other auto clutch...........except you can use the clutch lever to slip the clutch or to dump the clutch for dead stop wheelies. Otherwise, you can just ride it like anyother auto clutch machine. It will not stall if you choose not to pull in the clutch at a stop.

So thats what the new 250ex looks like eh?? I thought It was a 90 when I first saw it. Anything new on the 250's?

i just went to the hond dealership yesterday and saw the 06 trx250..those things are sick. i have the 03 and im thinkin about trading it in. the clutch is so nice and the whole layout is amazing and it is basically a smaller 450r. man, honda is doing some nice layouts right now...except for those ugly pieces of chit, 300ex. man they need to remodel the front end of something cause that thing next to the 250 and 450 is just like eww lol.
