sputtering at half throttle

Ok i took my 330r out for the first session this weekend. Everything thing was fine for the first 35 min then it started sputtering and wanting to die and backfired. I towed it back to the house, drained the tank since the fuel was old, cleaned the carb and changed the plug. Now it is fine idling up to 1/3 throttle at 2/3 throttle it sputters at full it rips no hickups at all. Could it be a bad coil, an intake leak, bad reeds, or the intermediate jet? What do you guys think

well if the problem is at mid trottle you probably should lean out the needle but moving the clip up o1 position and see how it is. i wouldnt rule out an electrical problem either.coil, cdi or stator.

no it was jetted just fine for the conditions and ran great until like 20 minutes into the ride. how do u check the coil, stator and cdi

did you try putting a new plug in yet?

ya i changed the plug i havent check the ground yet but wouldnt that make it run like crap all the time?? it is only in the middle that it does it.
