case saver ???? help

I cracked the case on my 250x & the case saver was about a year old . Is this common ? Should checking the case saver be checked/ replaced a regular maintenance ?

No , but bent it enough to crack the case . is that common ? 1st time there was no case saver , so I put a brand new case saver on .
I thought the case saver would keep this from happening .

that hasnt ever happened to me or anyone i know i would bring it back to the place you got it and tell them what happened


were did you get it? how hard did the chain hit the case saver like what gear were you in how fast were you going?

how did it happen
if it happend by the chain popping and you were going fast enough thats what bent it
its not really common only for people who dont tighten their chains
