Drop in cam? 400ex? What else?

I am considering getting a drop in cam for my 400 while my motor is out, but nothing else done, no bore, or valves..... would this be a big power increase? Hurt the motor?? Anything else to do? Whats the best cam ?? Where can I get it?? Just wondering.... thanks

Why do you have your engine apart?

Anyway, people have noticed an improvement on aftermarket cams.

As for what is the best cam.... I guess it depends on what kind of riding you do.
