Does anyone know if Raptor 660 shocks will fit on a Yamaha Blaster? Thanks

front or rear

IMO i dont see why you would want to do that if you dont have extended a arms or swinger

I was wondering if both the front and the rear would work. I just want some better shocks!

Does it matter what year the Raptor shock is?

Ok, does anyone know what other shocks will work on the rear of a blaster?

a 400ex rear shock will work with a little modifications...u have to shave a lil off ur air box or get an aluminum one and u need the drill out the mounting holes

and banshee front shocks work really good too...they are like an inch longer so it sits the front a little higher but with extended a arms they work even better

Will a YFZ450 rear shock work on the rear?

Sorry to ask this but would a banshee one fit? Or any other Yamaha sport-quads.

I'm guessing you would have to go with an '01 Raptor shock. The '02+ shock uses a different linkage and the mounting points on the '02+ are wider then the mount points on the '01. I'm guessing that the blaster would probably use the more narrow linkage like the '01 Raptor did. I do not know that for sure though.

I wouldn't even waste my time trying to make the front shocks work. They are junk. Save up and buy some used or new aftermarket shocks.

The YFZ shock will not work at all. It has a complete different style linkage the bottom shock mount is U style that goes over the linkage instead of between. That is unless you fabbed up some sort of linkage.

My brother isn't going to be using a linkage with the what ever shock will work!
