When I attempted to take carb out couldn't get carb out so I did jet change on quad. the temps are dropping and I put a K&N in. Don't want to run lean. I changed to 160 main. Put back together, started right up but as soon as I gave her 1/2 throttle when the rpms drop back down they were approx. 1000 rpms higher than idle right after startup. if you turn off and start it, it will repeat same as above any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Scott

make sure when you rotated the carb to swap jets you didnt kink or put the throttle cable in a bind.

I put the stock jet back in, the problem went away. Could over jetting(running rich) cause a problem such as this.
thanks

are you changing the correct jet ?? just double check. the main is hidden in the brass collar. i have made this exact mistake ONCE before. never again.
