blaster or 300ex

ok i might be trading my 300ex for a blaster the blaster has a 240 big bore kit and a few other odds and ends now he will also be giving me 400$ with his blaster for my 300ex his is an 03 blaster and mines an 01 300ex now on mine i have
nerfs
fmf pipe
jet kit
k&n filter
spacers on the back
renthal bars
the blaster has
pro circuit pipe,jetted, kenda klaw tires,
douglas rims, renthal bars, nerf bars
and a few other stuff

also the main reason i would be trading him is for the 400 cash to help pay for my mom's xmas gift (A trip/cruise to Alaska) i want to get her sum thing nice for every thing she has done for me
alsoim about 5'6 and about 130 will the blaster feal difrent from the 300ex ?

but i doono will a blaster be good and would i have to rebild it alot ?

i hear people got rid of them cause they cost so much money cause everything goes worng, the engine parts (pistion rings ect) are the most common because its a 2 stroke i was talking to one guy who owned a blaster he got rid of it because he had to rebuild it every 5 months and didnt have the money:chinese:
