KFX,Z,DVX 400 quality over few years

Just wondering how the quality of this quad is. It is a toss up for me between kfx and 400ex. I like the power of the new kfx and that it has radiator with fan, piggy backs,dohc. But I know that the quality of the honda is great ( assuming i take care of it, which i will). I own a 250ex and have a buddy with 01 400ex and they both have been riding very hard and still run great and haven't had to have any major parts. I also have another buddy who just picked up a new z400 and I like it alot, rides awsome. I am looking for a very good quality quad that will last me a good while, something that jumps good, and handles good. What do yall think?

well my brother has an '05 kfx adn runs the living piss out of it, he has had it for a year almost but has problably put 2-3 years of wear and tear on that thing and it still screams along.:D

i have had mine for a year and the only thing wrong with is i got a 450r so not much seat time on the old z400 o yea my cutch went out on my z400 but thats it

I have an 03 and have ridden it harder than Tommy Lee on Pam on the yacht!! I am not the best on maintenance, and have wrecked, rolled, submerged, raced and done anything imaginable to it and it is still very reliable-motor has not been touched, valves are still adjusted perfectly and everything. GREAT machine, but the EX is great too, just doesnt have the goodies tha Z/KFX has.
