fixing play in my clutch and break handles...

hey guys, ive noticed theres alot of play in my break and clutch handles, when i lookat it closley, it seems i can fix it using thin plastic shims, has anyone ever done this ? my front break isnt bad, but my clutch has tons of play, up and down. anyone ever done this?

I tried that once, but it took really thin shims, it might seem like alot of play but it's not. I just got new levers, I'm pretty sure that's the part that's wearing. You can get both levers from servicehonda.com for like 5-6 bucks each.

couldnt be wear, im not gonna replace the handles, there cast metal, there not gonna wear that much, i know it would take plastic shims, i just wanted to know others successes with it.
trust me, new stock levers wont change anything, i need to fill that viod.
