Hey all,has anyone ever used the wiseco piston kit (12:1)in this motor,I just wondered what the difference was between this and a "big bore kit"I dont really want to dump a bunch of money in this older motor.

a 12.1 piston will increase compression but NOT displacement.you would have to go .020 or higher on your piston size to get a increase in displacement(cc):)

a big bore will have a biggerm displacement than just a 12:1 comp

u can get a big bore with 12:1 and u will need to run race gas
