I hear those FL350's were fast as well...I have never ridden on though.

Hell, I had to buy a Pilot just to ride one of those.
Things are selling for 7-8K now:eek2:

I would love to have one of those. Put a 250r motor in it with a 330 p/v, o yea. The hot rod shop thats close to me had one of them, and they showed me a pic of one day they jumped it off a BMX ramp. You just saw about 4 or 5 feet in the air the odysey just floating there. haha

I think FTZ can set up a 250R bottom end with a stroker crank and mod the cases to accept the Pilot cylinder. I think it makes the R a true 400. It's pretty expensive though.

The FL350 Odyssey was made in 85 only. It was definately a step up from the FL250 Odyssey, the 350 had better suspension, electric start and reverse. The FL400 Pilot was liquid cooled and had longer travel suspension. If you want a Pilot, you will easily pay over what they retailed for new, and that's for one in fair to good condition.

I used to take my Pilot to the local MX track and jump the shiat out of it.

There was a 60' table I would clear(completely stock Pilot)..people were amazed at the performance of these machines, including myself.

I bought mine after breaking my leg on the 400. Now I wish I wouldn't have sold it.:(

A pic I took a few years back. There was four of them but I only got three at once.. All are modified Pilots..
