Ok, Im a 15yr old boy whos been riding ATV's since my foot could reach the shifter. I've always had someone in my house who had a one so i never had to have my own.....well now i dont have anything and im begging for a Honda Trx 450R, but the county i live in doesnt allow anyone under the age of 16 to ride anything bigger than a 250, if that! i want to have your opinion on what i should get. People tell me i should get a truck, but i already have one, then they say fix it up with all kinds of modifications. I know a 450 is alot of cc's to handle but ive been around ATV"s my whole life,including honda trx 300fourtrax,400forman,450forman 250 ex and 300ex.......so i would like your opinions please. just kiddin man, but take some responsibilty and and get a little part time job cuttin grass or something and offer money to help out. that will show your really interested. i know your only 15 but when i was 15 i paid for 3/4 of my blaster while my parents chipped in the rest. just be a good sport about it.

My first bike was a xr100 when I was twelve and I paid every cent for it,4 bikes later I still pay every little bit. A quad for Christmas is asking to much. But everyones finacial situations are different, so who am I to say:ermm:

if your wanting something fast and smooth like a 450r get a 250r you might be more satisfied with it than a 450r

what country r u in all the atvs say 16 and older but that dont mean anything go ahead and get it you can handle it i went from an xr80 to a 450r :devil:

r u in one of those counties where it is legal to ride on the roads, just as long as u go by the cc limit. Because the county shouldnt be able to do anything about it if your on your property or have permission to ride somewhere. Atleast thats what i was told. Where i live it is completely illegal to ride an atv no matter what. But I got my 450 when i was 14, im almost 16 now and so far so good. I would look into the law a little more. If not just get the 450r and learn how to run.

over here in the states we're posed to be 16 too... i started ridding a 400ex at 12 and now i'm 15 on a KFX450

Im 14 and have a 400ex. The law here is the same as yours, i am supposed to be 16 to ride this quad but I haven't had any problems. Unless they are checking your age and your bike I wouldn't worry about it!!!! Also, no one can do anything if you are on provate property or you own. You can be 2 and ride a 450r and they can't do anything if your on your property.

I heard that next years magic number is 14 for racing, I am not sure???

You should be able to handle the 450....i jumped from my 250ex to my YFZ
