should i buy and put a v8 in it

hey my friend just sold his banshee to buy a eclpise and he has nothing to go up to the dunes with and im getting a 95 mustang gt that i can drive in the summer and i could drive this in the winter but this is what i was thinking putting and old 289 or 302 v8 in this and some 35" super swopersand a cool paint job and some inside work here it is

That looks like a wickid fun project truck. But if you plan on driving it on the road, email the guy make shure it has a clean title and eveything. Also for sand, keep the tires that it has on there now, boggers are too agressive for sand and won't work as well.
