Well I took my 450R to the dunes last week and I rode it 3-4 times.
When I got home I noticed that it was low on oil so changed the oil.
After I rode it again on the trails for 2 rides it was low on oil again.
It does not blow smoke or run bad just burns oil.
I change the oil and filter after every ride? I very rarely hit the rev limit and have never crashed it.
What do you think the problem is?

Well this is what I am getting at. I was told as a kid “don’t fix it till it is broke”

I am thinking of doing some mods to my quad but want to know what the better ones are.
I have full pipe White Bro’s, K&N filter, re: jet, 13 tooth front sprocket and HRC cam.
I am thinking of doing port and polish, high compression piston + bore, rev box and stroking it.

Is there anything that I did not ad that would be a good mod or better mod?
How much do you think it would cost to do that to my quad?
And any suggestions on what parts and where to get them would help.
Thanks in advance

none of that oil is coming out of ur breather tube is it...sits inside ur air box. check that? those are some pretty hefty mods, i would stay away from the stroker and just put a JE pistion in it and cam, rev box ETC.

this is fairly common on these motors, especially when new. just keep checking your 450 before every ride and you should be okay. mine did this too and stopped after a few good hours of riding.
