The 06 uses a forged, short piston skirt design that lets it rock in the bore (piston slap) that is normal for that design!

There's a good bit of noise coming from the front of the motor. Still not as loud as my Cannondale though!

Doesn't seem as noisy after broke in but after the hrc cam installed it seems a little noisy but not bad.

Its not that bad.. its not annoying or anything just a bit louder

they are pretty noisy.......mine sounds like the rod is gonna come throught the bottom at any time.....but they sure humm when you get on them.....they make a whole lot less noise when they are making power....

mine is noisy as hell and i called the honda place and they were like "trust me its normal they all do it" so i was likewell i bought the 4 year warranty so if i come in with a piston through my nuts u guys are fixin my bike and buying me some fake testicles and he just laughed and was like no problem man anytime
