ok, i had hell getting the swingarm out of my ex, i had to cut it out. now that its out i cant get the rest of the bolt out of that sleeve that its stuck in. i soaked it for three days in pb blaster thinkin that would help......it didnt

if anyone knows what im talkin about could you please help me

soak it, heat it. and pound it

chances are that the needle bearings are done, and the remainder of your bolt is just rust fused ( if thats what you want to call it) to the tube inside.

just have to keep working at it...

we had a 400ex swing bolt stuck once and put a 12 tom press on it and it still didn't budge an inch...ended up cutting it out in many pieces.

its a pain

its been soaking for about 5 or 6 days now....i havent tried to heat it since its been soaking...ill try that tommorrow i guess...

Take a chisel, and break the race, thats what holds all the needle berrings together. Take out as much of the berring as you can, and that should help. You can get the berrings for 15 bucks on ebay.

its stuck in that sleeve thats in the swingarm. ive got it out. just cant get the rest of the bolt out of that sleeve. ive heated with a heat gun and a torch. its still suck!!!

could i put in the oven, like i did my carrier w/i changed those bearings???

use a air chissel i pounded mine out with that ten times better than a hammer and chisel...ps dont break the bearings because they are prolly rusted if u do that ur gunna need a torch to cut it out
