I have one on my Sportsman and so far so good. Easy to install and would highly recommend it for running big oversized tires. Yes, i'm pretty sure it will increase stress on the atv, but if taken care of you should be ok.

I am running 27x9-12 and 27x12-12 Maxxis Mudzillas. They fit easy with room to spare. I would recommend some wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels just incase. I'm getting both later when I get some extra money.

Regular High Lifter Lift Kit costs around $100 + or - $5 or $10 depending on ATV.
Gorilla Axle Lift Kit gives you a lot more ground clearance, different axles, ect... BUT, cost a good bit more.
Me I got the High Lifter Lift Kit for $108 to my door. If you have the money for a Gorilla Axle Lift Kit then I would say get it, but if not then just get the regular High Lifter Lift Kit.

Just My Opinion

There is no Gorilla kit for a Kodiak. The kits for the Yamaha aren’t that impressive IMO. The Grizzly gets a whopping 18” GC with 29.5” tires…I was pushing that on stock a-arms and axle lengths.

IMO if you want to go big…go custom!
