the frames are ****. i broke mine in 4 spots, then i gusseted it with a 12 piece kit i made....i snapped both cv joints due to my lift and locker. they eat up rear brakes fast. the motors and trannys are reliable as all heck tho....if you have a vinson question im the guy to ask pretty much. i got nearly 3500$ into mine....it rips wheelies, and lets just say i put it through the tests....

check out atvconnection.com and if you have any questions pm 4xsuki he is reallllyllyly knowledgeable like myself about the vinson.

nice 4x4
my dad got a polaris 800 and he needs a winch because my 450r wont pull him out. what size do you recomend? 2.0 2.5 3.0 ???
i have no idea:confused:

from my expirance the 2.5 and 3.0 warns are the best. you can never have a big enough one....some of my friends got small winchs for cheap thinking they would be good enough....trying to pull someone out they would either stall, or in some cases trash the gears. get a warn 2.5 or 3.0 then get the synthetic rope for it....stronger, and the first time you catch a burr from the cable you are going to be glad you have it...

hey...so ur saying my dad should look out for axle problems... i dont know how much trail riding hes going to be doing mostly just house work! but i think sum so he can bond wiht me and my older bro lol even though he wont be able to catch us case i got a 400ex and my bros got a yfz lol oh yeah how do those things pull through mud? and how fast are they?

they will do 62mph stock or 99kmh on the display. i have had mine up to 68 on a good day and other stock ones will do 65-66 i think my CV joint problem came from my lift, but got custom axles made for it that telescope...problem solved....i think my problems come from my extream riding style....

they go through the mud OK stock

i would put a set of good tires on it as the first thing. but if hes just useing it around the house its gonna be reliable as all heck man...:) those suzuki motors go forever.

ok well we got it today rides nice and plush i wish we could get a pipe for it that wasnt loud but more responsive to the throttle but oh well we already towed or lil wooden trailer with it and stacked it with logs today! really nice bike! its got a pretty good topend and the 4x4 is nice!! we jsut need rear tires and hopefully find a quiet (For hunting) yet more reponsive then the stock pipe( oh yeah stocker is lose we thinks it the bolts is that hard to get to!?)

some people have had reports of the baffles rattleing in the stock exhaust....the pipe you want is the HMF ECO system

hmfengineering.com

its quiet and still has good gains.....

i have a regular HMF, and its almost as loud as my Sparks on my ex, just alot deeper.
