Drive at a speed that you are comfortable with and begin braking a long ways away from a stop sign in case its icy.

Put some weight in the back, cinder blocks work, sand bags etc

i might try that but i live in ohio our parking lots have big *** pot holes, the car sits like 3 inches off the ground its probly not gonna even move in deep snow, im probly gonna put it in the garage till spring and just drive one of my parents cars. hopefully it will warm up and melt the snow so i can drive it to school a couple time before it goes in the garage

if you just got your license yesterday, it isnt too smart of your parents to make your first driving experience in the snow!

i just got mine 2 weeks ago and twodays ago was my first time in the snow. Where in NE you live? I live like 25 miles west of Cleve in Lorain county ( elyria-lorain-north ridgeville) area.
We got like 3 or 4 inches and i went and took the 4wd truck out and damn it was fun. I live way out on the outskirts of the city so i dont get my street plowed. Did some nice 4wd donuts tho
