A-arms and rims

Which do you all think would be a better setup for MX and some trail running, trying to be able to do both. All standard travel.
+3+1 with 4+1 rims
+2+1 with 3+2 rims
These will be going on a Z400.

If you are going to do trail riding +3 is pretty wide, I have +2 and it is pretty wide already, I wish I would of got LT though. Just my opinion though....
