View Full Version : .040 overbore
does anyone know why Wiseco lists a .040 oversize piston part # the same for 86 as 87-89. I thought there was a diference between these years. I'm putting a 88 crank in my 86 bottom end and don't want to run a spacer plate. So I was going to use a 88 piston without a spacer plate in stead of a 86 piston with a long rod but wiseco lists same #'s.

It's probably a typo. Wherever you order from, be sure to talk to somebody directly and let them know exactly what you want. (I suggest C&D racing, 402-614-2508. Tell them Wilkin sent ya, they'll give you 10% off :p )
I got the part #'s off of Wiseco's website maybe there is a screw up. I was going going to get a Wiseco kit off ebay. So I'll go with a 88 year.
