Big Bear 400 4x4

a buddy of mine has a big bear 400 4x4 and we traded quads for a day to just try soemthing new and i went muddin with it for a while and it ran good just hezitated but it always does when the airfilter gets any dirt on it. after i went muddin we rode for a little while and went home, well like 3 days later he went to go ride it and it had a hard time starting but finally it did, he rode it around the yard and then it just died and we havent been able to get it to run sence, i cleaned and airfilter and took apart the carb and cleaned it, still nothing, it has compression, and spark, the fuses are all good. i dont get it, it dosent make any wierd noses when we try starting it. i dont know what the problem is, any suggestions?

I had the same problem with my ex girlfriends dads big bear. His would run fine and out of knowwhere would crap out and run like $h!t! No dealer could figure it out. I believe it was electrical. Some differential fluid or water getting in something. I cleaned his carb also and found some dirt but not enough to run like it did. He traded it in for a Honda foreman!!
