What is required to put an fcr off of a wrecked yfz on my 450r. I can get the carb for cheap but i was wandering if it would be a pain in the butt to install and what not. Any info will help.

Thanks guys.

correct me if im wrong but arent all fcr 39mm carbs the same, they dont make them by model correct? so all you would need is the adapter which runs like $70 i believe, maybe even cheaper then that, you can get it from just about anyone, i would talk to sudco, they know their carbs

No re-wiring or anything like that? Also, you got a # for sudco?

tps isnt needed for the carburetors. If its disconnected you wont even feel a difference. I have a yfz carb on my z400, all i had to do was stretch the stock intake boot over it because it was a little bigger. Since the 450rs come with the 42mm mikuni i dont see why it wouldnt fit on the stock boot.

there are those billet adaptors but try it on your stock one to see if it works. i dont know about them but my opinion is the billet isnt even needed
