I need something 5500 and lower. Everyone has directed me to the 93-97 z28's and trans am's, but my mom is worried that i'll get killed in it or something. So what other cars can i make quick or build for under 5500? One car that really grabs my attention is the 1971-1972 Ford Maverick's with the 302.. But does anyone else know of what cars i can look at. I may still get a z28, but i'd have to pay for it myself w/ no help from the rents.

Why not something sensible if you parents are paying for it?? Gets you from point "A" to point "B".



I would have driven a Yugo if my parents would have bought it for me!

We saw this 68 302 ford torino sitting in this guys garage when i went to pick up my 300ex, he wanted 2,000 bucks for it. We were going to buy it but it needed brakes and we couldnt get it home. You can find them with 289's, 302's and probly bigger. I liked it because it was ford's car in nascar back in the day, plus i thought it looked cool. My dad wouldve fixed it up for me as a 1st car, owell.

im having the same problem with my parents with a 1995 mustang gt that im making a saleen raplica and a 93 300zx tt i plain on macking the cars really pimped out,but they think im going to go race kids were they street race so i asked if i could get a 1997 f150 and crotch rocket but they said no to the bike but i think i could talk my dad into but not my mom but i know what your going throw

and look at a 1995+ eclipse turbo i dont think you will have money to pimp it out right away
