Need A Fast Answer

I know this is the wrong section but I need a fast asnwer. If the mods will just let me get one answer they can delete it!

If i have (for example) 10w40 in my quad now and I just throw in (for example)20w50 in there willl it mess anything up?

i dont think it should cause a problem unless you start switchin back and forth between oils each change

i wouldn't think so, cause it wouldn't all be the 20w50, although i don't know that i would be running that thick of oil.

change oil weights within the same brand should create no real problems, changing from brand to brand to brand is a bad idea though as sometime they don't react well due to different chemistries, as with most things choosing one and sticking with it will always be the best route
