I just bought a bone stock blaster for my boy. Hard to start, low on power. I have a manual, but it doesn't give the compression pressure. Just wanting to see if I need a new piston. Thanks.

i think after a rebuild, you should be at 180PSI.

110 is about the lowest you want to go before a rebuild

call Eric Trenga.

stock motor should be around 130-140 psi. a highly worked motor would be around 180 psi of compression

Thanks! I only have about 90-95. I put a little oil in the cylinder and got 100-105, so I guess a new piston and bore is in the works. Thanks again for the info.

If you dont mind running race gas, might want to consider shaving the head a little. Duncan, and others Im sure, do a great job of milling and rechambering the dome for higher compression.
