Carbon Fiber Beadlocks

Has anyone owned/know somebody whose owned Carbon Fiber beadlocks? I want to but a set but a guy at a local track said they are junk and they shatter real easy. Any input would greatly be appreciated

I do a lot of trail/XC riding/racing. They definetly hold up well for that.... Chris Borich (GNCC) racer has them and is having good luck with them.

As for motocross (MX), I can not answer. A helpful guy on this site, Beerock, rides mx and told a story of his horific crash, and that his HiPer carbon fiber rims held up great.

As for shattering, I have not heard of this. I do know that these rims are modular, where if a part does fail, it can be replaced. HiPer rims also come with a 1 year warranty:cool:

BTW, I really like mine! I just wish I had more of them for my different tire combinations.:rolleyes:
