well what do you know walmart is tearing down more! im so sick of walmart right now because of this place. it was a hospital for the insane in pittsburgh pa.

walmart is beginning to get outta control. anyone in the indy area has heard of the big zionsville debate. 95% of the town doesnt want a walmart. Walmart is pushing for zoning anyways and plans on building.

But you know what, within a year, all 95% of those people will have spent money there. Dumb americans, if you feel strongly about something dont cave in.

It would be funny to see a brand new 60 million dollar walmart go up and then go out of business because people actually stuck to their guns.

So you're upset that walmart is tearing down a building that burned and has been abandoned for many years, and replacing it with something that can create hundreds of jobs and help the town save money? Yea, i'd be pissed too.

rumor has it that dixmont is haunted I've heard lots of stories about it. Supposedly theres security that patrols daily and theres building the guards refuse to go into.

I've heard all kinds of stories about Dixmont.

Let's face reality. The people that area are bummed about Dixmont getting leveled are all the pot-heads, teenage goth freaks, homeless people that live there, and people that go there to party.

The people that are GLAD to see Dixmont get leveled are the parents, other landowners in the area, state officials, executives, ect ect. You know, the productive members of society that pay taxes and stuff.

That asylum is beautiful, It is a real shame that it is so run down, the architecture (?) of the building is magnficent.
I do agree if it can't be fixed tear it down, and build something to create jobs.
Walmart has taken over our towns up here in Canada as well, and the small buisness suffers, but there is not much that can be done so we must accept it.
I shop there, only because some stuff is cheaper..

Well you said that the place was haunted, I saw on TV or read somewhere that sometimes ghosts have showed up in picutes before, even if no one could see anything when they took the picture.
