Where to get hard faced rockers?

Where can I get hard faced rocker arms? Are they exchange? Also, a JE 12:1 piston? Best price?

I believe that only need the harden rockers when you install a cam. It sounds like Web sells rockers for around $230. I bought new rockers from Honda for $80 and I am sending them to a place in Cedar Rapids Iowa to get hardened. Don't hold me to this because I haven't got a bill yet but is sounds like $20 will cover it. :D

YOU can get them from web for about$75 and your old ones. They aren't neccessary unless you go with the bigger cam and heavier springs

Oynot if your getting your rockers hardened for $20 bucks.:eek: Your robbing them people over at Cedar Rapids. Sure they didn't say $220?

I piston will run you around $140 bucks. (i think)

With that high of a compression it'll be around $170, atleast thats the average price i see.

Where else can I get the rockers? Web wants $260 plus exchange for all 4!!! What compression ratio's can i get with a 406?

If you want give Scott at Recreational Motorsports a call, 319-365-5391. He can tell you about getting yours hardened. The place in Cedar Rapids is doing a run this weekend. So if you could get them there b4 friday you can get yours back next week. I am not 100% on the price but he quoted me around $20 to do mine. Then again he does sponsor me. Just be sure to tell him that Tony sent you.
