2002 400ex not idling but starts and runs

Ok I can't figure this out. I went for a 3 hour ride and the bike ran awesome. I come home and clean it off and go to restrat it 2 weeks later. It starts and during warm up it stalled. I go to restart and it won't stay idling with me holding the throttle. I checked the choke and it appears to be working properly. Is there something else that would keep it from idling. I'd hate to bring to the dealer because the local dealer rapes you blind everytime you need work done.

Check the carb and the spark plug.

It dosen't stay idling unless I use the throttle. I can run up and down the street but the minute I let go of the throttle it stalls when it comes to a stop. Is there a fuse that would cause this issue?

it's getting spark as I can ride up and down the street

clean that carb good. take out jets and shoot carb cleaner through them, stuff like that. fixes 99% of the problems i have with my quad.

plug could be kinda fould, air filter could be dirty.

but your ideling is probly set to low if it runs good with the throtle on.
