Alltel and southern link cell phone question

does anyone know if Alltel walki-talki phones can interact with southern linc, Boost Mobile or any other walki-talki cell phones

i think the waklie talkie function is only available to the people you call that have the same service. best bet is to call and ask.

thanks that sucks I am going to ask them but just wanted to know ahead of time I am gettin a new phone tommorrow most of my friends have links that is why I wanted to know

then why not just go with the company your friends have?? it will probably pay off in the end, if you call them often.

cause I already got a plan with alltel and my mom is getting alltel and I am giving her my phone and I am getting a new one anyways southern link has crappy signal's

I have both an Alltel phone and a Southern Linc.

They will not communicate with each other with the two-way part.

You are correct the the Southern Linc service insn't the greatest but they are working on it. It is a lot better than when we first started using them.

hey Brad check your pm's I sent you one do you want to go to Durhamtown Saturday they got a lot of differnt level motocross tracks and xc tracks you should go I heard it is real nice up there
