Would I need to beef up my valve springs or get hardened rockers, or do anything else if I got this cam? Or would I have to run race gas? How long and how much money would it be to harden my rocker arms? This is for the 250ex by the way. Please give me all the imformation you can. Thanks. http://www.webcamshafts.com/honda-atv.html#8

Webcams all require hardfaced rockers. Sometimes you can get away without if you have no wear and a very very mild cam. I wouldnt risk it though.
Webcam = hardface rockers
Hotcam = standard rockers
However a 250ex isnt an overhead cam is it?
So I dont think your "rockers" will be touching the cam. Isn't the 250ex a pushrod system?
Call Webcam, they can tell you what you need, and how much it will cost. I'd reccomend a Hotcam if they make cams for a 250ex. Just so you dont have to worry about it.
Also you'll only need heavier springs if you'r running a semi-agressive cam. An all around cam should be fine on stock springs. Anyhting else and I'd look at heavier to avoid valve bounce and floating issues.

Ok, thanks. Hotcams doesn't make a cam for the 250. Only white brothers and web cam, but they are both hard welded. So you are saying that the rocker arms don't touch the cam so they will be fine?

according to the WEBCAMS website, it says "bolt-in", all the others say it is "recommended" to hard face the rockers, best advice, call them, they could tell you and you could order you cam at the same time.

the rockers touch the cam so it would be a good idea have them hardfaced.

A 250ex is not over head cam. The cam hits a pushrod THEN the rocker arms. I'd say just call Web.

not all web-cams require hardwelded rockers, the one ordred for my 86 200x did't and they said the stock rockers will be fine. Valve spring kits and stiffer cluth springs are required for almost all of them.
