Whos ready for snow?

I hate snow but I think the kid finaly came back into me,

I slapped my raptor wheel/tires on they are less aggressive then the holeshots and a little smaller should make 360s interesting :devil:

Its suppose to snow tomorrow or on turkey day soo I'm in a rush to get the quad ready lol..

Any other things I should try?

ahh i cant wait for snow! were suppose to get a few flakes 2 morrow night.. they said its suppose to be a colder winter then usual.

we already had like 6 inches but it all melted iwthin like 2 days and while it was on the ground it was almost to muddy to go anywhere without getting stuck. I live right on lake ontario so I should get to see some lake affect soon then I'll be able to have fun. Once the water freezes over here then I'll be able to go srew around on that too.

im not ready. seems like the leaves just fell off the trees. weve had a couple inches last week. temps have been above normal until this week. mid 50's for last 4 weeks. its 20 degrees now.

It snowed all day but didnt stick untill like noon .... we might have like and inch on the ground ... I cant wait till we get more ... get my sled out, and take the grizzly down to the river and do some utility donuts lol .... :p

we usually get snow late, but it comes, and alot! i am proud to ride my 400 through the snow because 2 years ago i pulled a prarie out with mine, the prarie was buried! i wish i had pics!

Technically the only time quads are allowed to ride the roads in NY is during a state of emergancy. Usually this means all of the main roads are covered with snow and the plows cant keep up, so they allow any all terrain vehicle to ride on public roads since cars arent safe.Although ive only actually ridden during a state of emergancy twice, i cruise the streets every snow storm we get. The cops dont seem to mind as long as your not being stupid and there is plenty of snow on the roads. You get the occasional cop here and there who are having a bad day and chase you expecting you to stop for them, but i dont have to go into that. The First good snow storm we get this winter im riding down to the local tgi fridays restaurant, parking in the parking lot and getting a bite to eat. should be fun

i love snow, cant wait until we get alot. righ now it is snowing outside and we have about 1/2 -1" outside, but that is all we are gonna get, but still enought to make driving a blast and riding fun. I make excuses to drive in the snow, i just think is is awesome.

When we trailor them, and it's really cold, since I have my parking brake on, my rear brake locks up. It's interesting to get it off the trailor.:o

in Pennsylvania, the law is you can drive the quad on the road if their is a declared state of emergency and you need a drivers lisence.

yeah man...it started here around 9...so when did it start there about 11ish? of course the weather man said it will start around 12....so i was at some chicks house....in the middle of something...couldnt leave til 11...had a nice 2 hr drive home...only 30 miles away :grr: the si doesnt like snow as much as the yfz :scary:

oh and btw...banshees kick *** in the snow...im not sure about with those tires...but with bandits mine went better than alot of quads....and threw massive roosts :macho

I think either later this afternoon or tomorrow , I'll jack the YFZ up and put the studded tires on . I hope the temps get a lot colder before we get anymore snow though . If we could get a good 6 inches of ice , then it can snow all it wants .

Too much snow right now will insulate the ice and not allow a good solid ice to form . No good ice = crappy lake riding . :(

We got a scattered 3-5 inches, made driving home in my 5spd honda civic with low profile 17's (bald also) very fun. But then i rode my sisters little 50 in the snow it was awesome.
