i currently own a 250ex , and im going to be racing the aircooled calss 91c-300cc but want to get somwething differnt and something with a clutch and good handling wut do u suggest!?!

hey tri-vally i have a 2 ?'s when you get to the race do u just unload ur sh1t and setup ur tents and crap anywere?and when its time for your class's moto when do u know when to go up do they anounce when to?

ya pritty much u unload everything and get the bike ready for tech(want to be realy with a group of people and not in the way of any thing). they will anounce the race order after paractice. goin to the riders meating is a must if u want to know wats goin on during the day. some tracks make u have a atva card and a neatv card and some only neatv cards. u can get a race order sheet at sign ups after practice.

first race is the worst but after that its great.

motor wise it is stock. i have an AC front bumper and rear grab bar, razr rears, 400ex front tires, uni filter, renthal handlebars, and i removed the headlight. i don't really race, so i have just left it stock until it needs a rebuild, then i am going to give it a little juice, cause i wouln't be able to make any money off of it to buy a 400ex.

If I had the chance to do it over again I would have gotten a 250x instead of a 300ex. The electric start is nothing but a pain in the ***, last year during the winter my start button froze, and I had to thaw it out with my hand. Had to walk a mile and a half due to a blown fuse. Right before my engine locked up my starter was about to go. The terminal on the battery has partialy broken of due to it being very weak metal. I would rather just hope on and kick the bad boy and go. I am thinking about possibly buying a 250x motor and getting rid of this electric BS.

the riders meetings are right after sign ups. i have had no porblems with my 300 besieds like my jettinmg getting cloged but thats it.

thanks, hopefully i can do it. I probaly wont paint the frame, only the hubs because they are red. Cant wait. I have never had brand new plastic. :eek2: I will be sure to keep you guys updated on it.

300ex all the way, i had the choice and id never take it back, my friend has a blaster and its a piece, if you race one be prepared to do alot of moding and rebuilding

Blasters are better than you think. Blasters/300's are about the closest stock machines that you can get. Mod for mod, A blaster will be faster for less money and has potential to be the faster of the two. Now, in the Handling/Suspension department, a 300ex is better in all aspects. A blaster has a more fun engine, but a 300ex is easier to ride. Take your pick: A fun, fast reving engine, or an easy to ride, smoother 300ex.

no offence adam but when it comes to nats a 300 is on top. And in neatv in air cooled hooper is always in front on his 300 second place is frank on his 300 and cassie was on a 300 and she always did good. 300s are more torque. id rather have a 00 over my blaster.

300's are easier to ride, that might be why people are winning on them. It all depends on what you are comfortable on, but stock for stock, they are as close as they can get. I'm used to a 4 Stroke, so a 300 will probably suit me better, but I like to ride agressively and rev it out as well, so I might like a blaster if I tried one as well..
