Ticking in the motor

Ticking in the motor every now and then, just kind of random. What is it? How do I fix it? How much is it? Is it difficult to do? Thanks

First : Which model of atv??

Maybe it's just a valves adjustment that you need.

If it's a 400ex,all 400ex thick a little but if it's loud,adjust your valves.

most likely its your rockers, they might be out of adjustment

mine ticks so dose my brothers there isnt anything you can do about it its common nothing to really worry about

Adjust your valves but all 400ex tick a little.

wish it was just my valves that was ticking, not tryin to scare ya but my timing chain tentioner broke and that was the cause of ticking on my quad, it wasent that bad of a fix though

sometimes its the decompression release, but ticking is normal on a 400. 1 in 3 ticks i heard
