440 Sled Engine

A buddy of mine has a 440 twin Arctic cat Engine for sale. It's been painted and it comes with two carbs, he will also throw in a clutch if you need it. It's Air cooled. Would alos make very good go cart engine. Make offers, will also trade for 250r parts.

What year engine is it and what model snowmobile did it come out of? What would shipping be to Maryland? I am sure shipping is outragous, but I would just like to know? Thanks!

Well i'm guessing it's a late 70s and it came out of an El Tigre sled. Engine is in awesome shape, good compression and runs great. Shipping would probalbly be between $50 to $80 from here to you. Let me check and make sure. Let me know if your interested and I'll send some pics your way.
