HMF Shorty...

where can i find hmf shorties for my 300ex...are they good, and are hmf in general good for racing ?

i dont think hmf makes a shorty pipe unless it was just recently released. i think if you saw an hmf shorty that sombody shortened themselves.

No need for the WB header now. HMF makes a full system for the 300 now. You could shorten it yourself pretty easily.

I haven't seen it yet but theres an post on their website in the forum section about it. I'm curious how it compares to the sparks x4 for the 300.

Actually You can order you can short from HMF but I think you have to order by phone.

When i ordered my HMF from C&D racing i asked for the shorty version. They called me back about an hour or two later and said that HMF does not offer a shorty for a 300ex because the can is already pretty short, about 1/2" or less. If you wanted a shorty HMF i guess you could cut it and make a custom bracket but that is a lot of work for something that probably wont give you any noticeable gains.

they finaly made a full pipe for the 300ex. Too bad I already have a new pipe:D
